This is Coffee (or Coughy, I'm not sure which), so-named because when she was rescued, her lungs were full of fluid and she did nothing but cough. Out of all the birds I met today, she endeared herself to me the most. She has a heart condition and is on medication to keep her alive, but she's the sweetest animal I've ever met. (I can't believe I'm saying that about a *turkey*.) I got to pet her. She LOVED to be petted. She'd stand at your feet and stare up at you, gobbling, till you pet her. If you stopped petting her, she'd gobble at you again till she had your attention. It was adorable. I had no idea that a turkey could have so much personality.
